EXEMPTION REMOVED FROM DEBT MUTUAL FUNDS
No Long Term Capital Gains Benefits on these Mutual Funds From April 2023 new amendment in Finance Bill applicable to Gold, International Equity and Domestic Equity Funds of Funds (FOFs).
No indexation allowed in LTCG calaculations. They will be taxed according Individual Income Tax slabs.
Debt Mutual Funds are invested more than 60% in Bonds, Securities of Government or Private.
Now Debt Mutual Funds are at par with Bank Fixed Deposits.
As per Industry Data Debt Mutual Funds figures stood at 12 Lakhs Crores as on December 2022
